UnionUs (“UnionUs,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides a software‑as‑a‑service (SaaS) platform designed to help labor unions manage member relationships, campaigns, events, communications, grievances and other cases, data, and reporting in a customizable, no‑code environment.

These Terms apply to:

• The union or organization that creates an account (“Client”)
• Authorized administrators and users added by the Client (“Users”)

If you are implementing UnionUs on behalf of a union or organization, you are confirming that you have the legal authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

By creating an account, accessing, or using UnionUs, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

UnionUs provides:

• A configurable system to store and manage union‑related data
• Tools for communications, workflows, reporting, and case tracking
• Client‑controlled customization without custom code

UnionUs is a tool, not a decision‑maker. You control how the system is configured, what data is entered, and how it is used.

• Clients are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of their account information
• Clients control who has access and what permissions Users have
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

Please notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

6.1 Your Data Is Yours

You retain ownership of all data you upload, enter, or generate using UnionUs (“Client Data”). We do not claim ownership of your data.

6.2 Service Provider Role

UnionUs acts as a service provider, housing and organizing Client Data solely on behalf of and under the control of the Client.

6.3 Our Use of Client Data

We use Client Data only to:

• Provide and operate the platform
• Maintain security and performance
• Improve functionality (using aggregated or de-identified data where possible)

We will never sell your information, or share it with a 3rd party unless required by law.

You agree not to use UnionUs to:

• Violate any law or regulation
• Infringe on privacy or employment rights
• Harass, intimidate, or retaliate against individuals
• Upload malicious code or attempt to bypass security

You are responsible for ensuring your use of UnionUs complies with labor law, privacy law, and your own internal union policies.

UnionUs allows extensive customization capabiliities. You acknowledge that:

• Configuration choices are made by the Client
• UnionUs is not responsible for outcomes resulting from how you configure workflows, permissions, or data fields

We are happy to provide guidance, but final responsibility remains with the Client.

• Fees are described in your subscription plan or agreement
• Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of access
• Subscription fees are non‑refundable except as required by law or expressly stated

We built UnionUs to use a modern, cloud-native architecture designed for reliability and performance, providing an expected 99.999% uptime. However, we can/do not guarantee uninterrupted service. There may be circumstances in which outages occur.

11.1 By You

You may terminate your subscription according to your plan terms.

11.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate access if:

• These Terms are violated
• Fees are unpaid
• Continued use poses security or legal risk

Upon termination:

• You may export your data prior to termination
• If your access is terminated before exporting your data, you may request export of your data within a reasonable period, provided at the time of termination
• After that period, data may be deleted in accordance with our retention policies

UnionUs will not access or disclose Client Data after termination except as required to comply with legal obligations.

UnionUs is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee that the platform will meet every operational, legal, or compliance requirement of your union.

However, we welcome product enhancement suggestions!

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• UnionUs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to account administrators.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles.
