UnionUs was created by union leaders who understand the realities of local union work. We’ve spent years navigating complex systems, limited resources, frequent leadership transitions, and tools that never quite fit.
We know, from experience, that unions deserve better. We deserve software that works for us. Software that is flexible, practical, and built to last.
To provide unions with a flexible, intuitive, and resilient Union Member Relationship Management system that puts control where it belongs: in union hands.
UnionUs empowers unions to meet their unique needs without costly custom code, risky modifications, or specialized expertise, so their systems remain reliable, future-ready, and able to evolve over time.
A world where technology adapts to people, not the other way around.
We envision a future where organizations of any size have access to tools that grow with them, tools that remove barriers, protect institutional knowledge, and allow leaders to focus on what matters most: their mission, their people, and their impact.
UnionUs is a founder-led, family-owned company guided by a collaborative leadership model. Our team brings deep experience in union leadership, higher education, user experience design, and secure software development. We operate as a distributed team based in San Diego, California and Tucson, Arizona, and we design our software with the same flexibility and accessibility in mind.
At our current size our team is not unionized, but we are unapologetically pro-labor. We believe in collective action, worker voice, and the long-term protections unions provide (and that those protections should outlast any individual leader, including us).
As an employer, we are committed to respecting our employees’ autonomy and remaining labor-neutral in practice, supporting their right to organize, bargain collectively, and make decisions free from pressure or interference: We support their right to unionize if and when they choose to do so.
Our goal is to build a company that reflects the same values we design into our software: fairness, transparency, sustainability, and respect for the people doing the work.
